To exercise the administrative

wastes, toxic chemicals and hazardous wastes,
the issues of license for operating business
involving these substances; to organize the
implementation of the prevention and control
of the pollutions of atmosphere, water bodies,
noises, vibrations, solid wastes, radioactive
substance, toxic chemicals and motorized vehicle
exhausts, etc.; to execute the registration
on the application for contaminant discharges
and the issue of license for discharge contaminants;
to implement the administrative procedures
concerning rectification programs within specified
time limits and restricted discharge under
allowed levels; take part in the investigation
and solution of accidents of pollution, to
be in charge of environmental statistics.
